What FastX collects
Your account (name, email, password hash, time zone), your fasting schedule and preferences, the meals you log (foods, portions, times, optional photos), optional weight entries, and notification settings. If you enable reminders we store the push-notification subscription for your device. If you use Continue with Google, we receive only your name, email address and Google's account ID for you (scopes openid, email, profile); we never see your Google password or anything else in your Google account, and you can unlink Google in Settings.
How it is used
Only to run the app for you: showing your fasting state, totals, insights and reminders. We do not sell or share personal data for advertising. There are no third-party ads or trackers.
Meal photos and AI
When you choose photo or text meal recognition, the photo or description is sent to Google's Gemini API to identify foods, and food names may be looked up in the USDA FoodData Central database. Results are estimates you review before saving. Photos are stored privately on our server and are deleted when you delete the meal or your account.
Storage and security
Data is stored on servers we operate, protected by encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed passwords. Deleted meals are kept for 24 hours so you can undo, then removed.
Your choices
You can export all your data (Settings → Export) and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account, or see fastx.xnet.ax/delete-account), which permanently erases your data and photos. Reminders can be turned off in Settings.
Not medical advice
FastX is a wellness tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Talk to a clinician before changing your eating pattern, especially if you are pregnant, under 18, or have a medical condition.
